Yes it is just that simple. Black people not only have the political power that is inherent in the people of any city or area but also have the "Right of Self-Determination". This means that at any given time Black people can choose to independently govern ourselves because we were never given that option even after emancipation from slavery.
The International Covenant On Civil and Political Rights states: All peoples have the right of self-determination. By virtue of that right they freely determine their political status and freely pursue their economic, social and cultural development.
The International Covenant On Civil and Political Rights is binding upon the United States government if only Black people stand up to exercise such rights. It also states that an effective remedy is due to those whose rights have been violated.
This current action for reparations encourages two simple steps to achieve this huge gain.
